Upcoming Tata Sierra EV showcase likely at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025

The Delhi Motor Show is now held under the banner of the Bharat Mobility Global Show, and the 2025 edition of the Auto Expo is just around the corner, with a lineup of new cars and SUVs ready to be showcased. Tata’s pavilion is going to be among the ones that’ll be too hard to miss, thanks to its expected upcoming electric SUVs like the Harrier EV and the Sierra EV. Here’s all that we know so far about the upcoming Tata Sierra EV.

Tata Sierra EV

The iconic ‘Sierra’ nameplate is going to make a comeback in an electric avatar in the form of the new Tata Sierra EV that has been showcased in a concept iteration at the previous edition of the Delhi Motor Show. The 2025 Auto Expo is expected to be host to the production ready version of the electric SUV, with its launch planned in the upcoming months.

New Tata Sierra SUV design

The new Sierra pays tribute to the original Sierra SUV with a familiar greenhouse design that was unique to the car. Rest of the body and elements have been styled to appeal to a modern audience with a closed front grille along with slim LED DRLs, and a sleek connected light bar at the rear accompanied by spoiler.

New Tata Sierra interior

As showcased on the concept version, the new Tata Sierra will be offered in four and five seater options, with the four-seater one having a lounge-like arrangement at the back. The Sierra has been redesigned to provide a comfortable commuting experience, as exclaimed by one of the lead designers of this upcoming electric SUV. At the front, we’ll get to see a couple of screens, Tata’s two spoke steering wheel with the illuminated logo, and lots of fabric on the dashboard.

Tata Sierra at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025

The Tata Sierra EV India launch has been planned to take place by the end of 2025, as cited by Tata at one of its financial meetings. The carmaker is expected to showcase the production ready version of the SUV at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Auto Show that is to be held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from January 17-22, 2025.
