Upcoming MG cars at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo

The second edition of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo is set to be held at a much grander scale than the first edition, with an array of new car launches and showcases planned by both major and small automakers in India. The Delhi Auto Expo, now a part of the Bharat Mobility Show, will act as a platform from a bunch of upcoming cars in India. Here are the upcoming MG cars at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025.

Upcoming MG cars and SUVs at the 2025 Auto Expo

MG Cyberster

MG had earlier announced that it will showcase the Cyberster in January 2025, and we expect it to do so at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. The Cyberster will be the automaker’s first car to be sold via its premium Select dealerships, and will be launched in India in the more powerful dual-motor version that produces 510PS of maximum power and 725Nm of torque.

MG ZS HEV

We expect MG to launch the new generation MG Astor/MG ZS EV in a hybrid avatar, which has already debuted in the UK as the MG ZS HEV. The UK-spec model gets a 1.5-litre petrol engine that is paired to a 1.83kWh battery and a 136PS electric motor. There has been no official communication from MG about the same yet, but they do plan to launch a few SUVs in the coming months and the ZS HEV might be one of them.

Upcoming MG cars in India

JSW MG Motor India has plans to rapidly expand their presence in the country, and they aim to introduce four luxury cars by the end of 2026, all of which will be sold via their new premium dealership network called MG Select. The Cyberster has been confirmed to be the first of these four, and the rest are yet to be announced. The ones that have high chances of being launched here include the MG Mifa 9 van, the MG4 EV electric hatchback, and the MG ZS HEV.
