Upcoming Hyundai Creta Electric specifications revealed ahead of Auto Expo 2025

Hyundai had released the upcoming Creta EV first images last week, along with key details about the SUV such as the battery pack options and certain key features. It has now disclosed the motor specifications of the SUV ahead of the official Hyundai Creta Electric India debut that is set to happen at the 2025 Auto Expo. 2025 Hyundai Creta Electric
The Hyundai Creta Electric, erstwhile known as the Hyundai Creta EV, is the carmaker’s upcoming electric SUV that will replace the now discontinued Hyundai Kona Electric. The Creta Electric looks more or less identical to its ICE counterpart, barring the repurposed front fascia and the aerodynamic alloy wheels.
Hyundai Creta Electric motor and battery specs
The Creta Electric will be available with two battery pack options — 42kWh and 51.4kWh. The powertrain with the smaller battery pack gets a claimed power output of 135PS, while the one with the larger battery pack gets a claimed power output of 171PS. ARAI-claimed range, as per Rev.1 guidelines, stands at 390 kilometers and 473 kilometres respectively.

Upcoming Hyundai Creta Electric safety features
The Hyundai Creta EV safety features have also been revealed. The key features include a Level-2 ADAS suite with 19 functionalities, 6 airbags, disc brakes for all four wheels, TPMS, ISOFIX child seat mounts, ESC, vehicle stability management, hill-start assist control, and hill-descent control, and electronic parking brake with auto-hold function.

The upcoming Creta Electric will also come packed with a host of tech, comfort, and convenience features including a dual-screen setup on the dashboard, an 8-speaker premium sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, cooled glovebox, vehicle to load (V2L) capability, digital key, electric boss mode, single pedal drive, and more.

Hyundai Creta Electric India reveal
The Hyundai Creta Electric will be unveiled in India at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo that is scheduled to take place from January 17-22, 2025 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
