Despite a global slowdown in the demand for electric vehicles, manufacturers have a lineup of EVs ready to be launched in the country. The Delhi Auto Expo, now a part of the Bharat Mobility Show, will act as a platform for a bunch of upcoming cars in India, dominated by electric vehicles this time. Here are the upcoming electric cars in India at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025.

Maruti e Vitara
Suzuki revealed its first electric car in the world at Milan, Italy, and the same will be showcased in India at the Bharat Mobility Expo. The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara will go against the likes of the upcoming Creta EV and more such electric SUVs in India. The new Maruti e Vitara gets a brand-new interior that looks refreshing and premium, along with modern exterior styling.
Hyundai Creta EV
Hyundai has confirmed that it will showcase an electric version of the Creta SUV to replace its now discontinued Kona EV. It has been spied testing multiple times, and is expected to come with a 45kWh battery pack, as per media reports. Keeping the costs in check, the Creta EV is likely to boast a single motor powering the front wheels.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift
Already launched in certain global markets, a facelifted version of the popular Hyundai Ioniq 5 SUV is expected to make its way to the Expo too. The Ioniq 5 facelift gets a bigger battery pack and revised design elements, along with added features such as an ADAS suite.
Hyundai Ioniq 9
Alongside the Creta EV, Hyundai is also set to reveal the new Ioniq 9 electric SUV in India at the Delhi Motor Show 2025. Based on Hyundai’s E-GMP platform, the upcoming Ioniq 9 is a close relative of the Kia EV9 that was launched in India a few weeks back.
Kia EV6 facelift
Making its debut at its hometown earlier this year, the facelifted Kia EV6 is also likely to be revealed in India at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The new EV6 Facelift gets redesigned headlights, reprofiled bumpers, a new steering wheel, and new alloy wheels. The India-spec model might also get a bigger battery pack similar to the global model.

MG Cyberster
MG had earlier announced that it will showcase the Cyberster in January 2025, and we expect it to do so at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. The Cyberster will be the automaker’s first car to be sold via its premium Select dealerships, and will be launched in India in the more powerful dual-motor version.
Mahindra XEV 9e
Launched at a starting price of Rs 21.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai), the full price list of the new Mahindra XEV 9e will be revealed at the Bharat Mobility Expo. The XEV 9e is one of Mahindra’s first BEVs that have been built on the all-new INGLO modular skateboard platform.
Mahindra BE 6
Along with the Mahindra XEV 9e price announcement, Mahindra will also reveal prices for the new BE 6 electric SUV at the Expo. The Mahindra BE 6 price in India starts at Rs 18.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai), and comes with two battery pack options — 59KWh and 79kWh.

Tata Harrier EV
Tata has recently confirmed that it will launch the Harrier EV by the end of this financial year. We expect it to get a claimed range of over 500 kilometres, and the option for both 2WD and 4WD configurations. Tata gave us a glimpse of the Harrier EV at the Bharat Mobility Show 2024, and it closely resembled the ICE version of the SUV.
Tata Sierra EV
Apart from the upcoming Harrier EV, the most anticipated launch from Tata Motors that is going to take place in next few months is that of the Sierra EV. At the same financial meeting, Tata said that they will launch the Sierra in an electric avatar by the end of 2025. The Sierra EV is also expected to be there at the Motor Show.
Toyota Urban Cruiser EV
Following the unveiling of the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, Toyota has also taken the wraps off its version of the electric SUV, called the Toyota Urban Cruiser EV. While it is mechanically identical to the Maruti e Vitara, Toyota has made few styling changes to the exterior to make it look a bit different than the former.

Honda Elevate EV concept
Honda has been working on an electric SUV based on the Elevate, and they are expected to showcase a concept version of the same at the Auto Expo. The actual car isn’t likely to be launched before 2026 though.
Skoda Enyaq
Skoda is ready to launch its first electric vehicle in India too, the Skoda Enyaq. Built on Volkswagen’s MEB platform, the Enyaq is the sister car of the Volkswagen ID.4. Skoda is yet to reveal the exact specifications of the India-spec Skoda Enyaq electric SUV.
Volkswagen ID.4
While VW has showcased the ID.4 in India before, it is likely to put it up for display at the 2025 Auto Expo as well. The VW ID.4 will be the German carmaker’s first electric car in India. The details of the Volkswagen ID.4 India-spec model haven’t been revealed either.

Mercedes-Benz G 580 with EQ technology
The Mercedes-Benz EQG, or the G 580 with EQ technology, or simply the electric G-Wagon, shall make its way to the Motor Show along with a few other Mercedes cars. Powered by four electric motors, this monster of an SUV claims to retain its electric prowess while providing a futuristic experience.
Mercedes Concept CLA
To be launched in both electric and hybrid powertrain options, the Mercedes Concept CLA shall be showcased alongside the EQG SUV at the Expo. It will be among the first Mercedes-Benz models to share its tech with the Vision EQXX.

Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV Night Series
While the Maybach EQS 680 SUV is already on sale in the country, Mercedes plans to launch the Night Series-spec version too. As the name suggests, the Night Series comes with all sorts of blacked-out elements and touches throughout the exterior, as well as the interior.
