New MG Majestor SUV revealed at the Bharat Auto Expo — 2025 MG Gloster facelift?

JSM MG Motor India has put up a happening pavilion at this year’s Bharat Mobility Global Expo, with the showcase of its first two products it has planned to introduce via its Select premium dealership network — MG Cyberster electric sportscar and MG M9 luxury van. The car stealing the spotlight today, however, is the MG Majestor SUV. Here’s everything you need to know about the 2025 MG Majestor.

MG Majestor SUV

The MG Majestor is essentially a facelifted version of the Gloster SUV, which is currently the carmaker’s flagship SUV in India. The Majestor sits in the D-segment and might likely be sold alongside the Gloster, priced higher than the latter.

MG Majestor design and styling

The Majestor looks quite different from the Gloster, and it features a chunky black grille at the front that is accompanied by slim DRLs and vertical headlamps. The rear end gets MORRIS GARAGES badging that sits above the connected lightbar. The silhouette remains identical to the Gloster SUV.

MG Majestor interior, features, and engine details

MG has been secretive about the interior of the SUV and is yet to reveal the MG Majestor features as well. The powertrain options, too, remain unknown, though they might be the same as offered on the Gloster — a 2.0-litre diesel engine and a 2.0-litre twin-turbocharged diesel engine.

MG Majestor India launch timeline

MG will launch the Majestor sometime around March-April this year, and is expected to reveal more details about the SUV soon. The Majestor is likely to be positioned above the Gloster and compete with SUVs from a segment above.
