Rahul Kapoor
Gurgaon • Consulting EditorAbout Author
Rahul began his career as an automotive journalist in 2014, contributing to leading publications like autoX, Motown India, and The Financial Express, Hotcars, among others. His passion for storytelling and global car culture extends beyond writing, he is also a published automotive photographer and videographer.
At just four years old, Rahul’s fascination with cars ignited when he discovered a pristine collection of classics like the 1939 Ford Model B, a 1947 Chevrolet Fleetmaster, a 1947 Buick Roadmaster, and a 1950 Cadillac V8 at his cousin’s restoration shop. Naturally, that cousin quickly became his favorite. By the age of six, he stumbled upon Formula 1, and from that moment, his passion for motorsports was set in stone.
These days, Rahul spends his weekends either following F1 and other racing series or wishing it were a race weekend. What truly excites him, though, are spontaneous road trips and overland expeditions, where the journey is just as thrilling as the destination.

Favourite Car
Rahul’s forever car is his recently acquired Jimny and he swears by his first-gen Ford Figo. But he hopes to expand his Dream Garage to include an electric Citroen Ami as his local runabout and an Alpine A110 or a Mazda Miata NA as a fun sports car (he does have a soft spot for quirky French cars). While he hopes to acquire a Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer in Malibu Blue. The classic car he dreams of owning one day is a timeless Mercedes-Benz 280 SL.
