In terms of power, the upcoming Thar 5-Door is expected to retain the current 2.0L Turbo-petrol and 2.2L diesel engines with a possibility of getting a higher state of tune in the future.

While the concept version of the XUV Aero has similarities with the Mahindra XUV 500, the production version could look more like the XUV700 and the Born Electric concept. That said, the coupe crossover body style will be retained.
Also, the production-spec Mahindra XUV Aero could initially get an electric powertrain only. While details are scarce at the moment, expect around a 40 kWh battery pack and a claimed range of around 400 km. The new model could be priced around the Rs 25 lakh mark.
