Mahindra and Mahindra launched the much-awaited and brand-new Scorpio-N today, 27th June. The brand urged all to witness the grand debut of the 'Big Daddy' of all SUVs and said that "with its head-turning design, spirited performance, and advanced technology, the All-New Scorpio-N is an SUV engineered to set new rules." It boasts premium interiors and advanced modern features, and the latest technology.

Price For The New Scorpio-N
The Mahindra website revealed the prices for the SUV at the launch event. The feature-laden SUV is positioned above its predecessor, the Scorpio Classic, which will continue to sell alongside the Scorpio-N. The price for the Scorpio-N begins from Rs. 11.99 lakh and goes up to Rs. 18.99 lakh for the top variant. The price for the Scorpio-N Z8L (6S) Petrol will be revealed later next month.

Upgraded Features And Technology
Keeping up with the massive success, the new Scorpio will take it up several notches. The new model is loaded with equipment to cater to the new-age rivals. To make it a true urban SUV, it is built from the ground up.
Some of the new Scorpio-N's equipment highlights include dual-zone climate control, keyless engine start-stop, cruise control, roof-mounted speakers, and AdrenoX-connected car technology. Other features include an electric sunroof, a 20.3cm large touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, a new instrument cluster, along with a Sony-sourced music system.
Mahindra is very serious when it comes to safety, and the Scorpio-N is a testament to this fact. The SUV reflects the brand's high safety standards. It comes with six airbags, an advanced ESC, a driver drowsiness detection system, an advanced seat restraint system, and a collapsible steering system. Other safety feature highlights include ABS, traction control, hill descent control, rear parking sensors, as well as front and rear cameras.
On the exterior, it has a muscular silhouette and twin-pod LED projector headlamps, LED fog lamps, and C-shaped LED DRLs. It also houses new front and rear bumpers, a six-slat chrome-finished grille featuring a new Mahindra logo, multi-spoke dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels, and reflectors on the rear bumper.

As for the interior, the SUV gets a flat-bottom steering wheel, brown and black upholstery, a front arm-rest with storage function, and adjustable headrests for all three rows. You can choose from six-seat (bucket seats with individual hand rests in the second row) and seven-seat (60:40 split) layouts.
It also comes with the 4XPLOR terrain mode (Normal, Snow, Mud, or Sand) that intelligently tailors traction for different terrains along with the most advanced Shift On Fly 4 Wheel Drive. It is also the world's 1st SUV with Alexa-enabled 'what3words' that helps navigate to a precise location using a unique 3-word combination.
Specifications
The new-gen SUV will be available with petrol and diesel engines, with the latter getting the 4-Wheel Drive system in some variants. Both the engines will get 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options, equipped with the 'segment first' shift-by-cable technology. The Scorpio-N will be powered by a 2.0 litre, four-cylinder turbo petrol engine and a 2.2 litre, four-cylinder mHawk turbo diesel engine. All the powertrains are rear-wheel drive as standard.
