Hyundai Motors India has finally launched the facelifted 2018 version of the Hyundai Creta. With this, Hyundai has given its highly successful compact SUV a new lease of life. The updated sub-compact crossover SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) comes with an improved design that makes the car look more modern. It also offers a few new features. Hyundai Creta 2018 VS Old Creta Specifications
Mechanically, nothing has changed between the two Creta models. The previously available 90 bhp 1.4-litre diesel, 123bhp 1.6-litre petrol and the 128 bhp 1.6-litre diesel engines are still doing duty under the hood. As before, the 1.4 diesel is mated only to a six-speed manual while the 1.6-litre engines get the option of a six-speed torque-converter automatic as well. However, the automatic gearbox is not available on the top-spec SX (O) trim of the all-new facelift Hyundai Creta.

Hyundai Creta 2018 VS Old Creta Interior and Exterior Design Comparison
The all-new 2018 facelift Hyundai Creta has received minor tweaks to its design structure in comparison to the old Creta. The front fascia of the new facelift Creta comes with a redesigned bumper. It has a slightly more curvaceous design around the edges. Furthermore, the chrome grille also bears a minor change. The faux skid plates under the bumper are now more prominent than before. The side profile of the compact SUV is identical with this update. The only major visual change in the side profile is the new Diamond cut alloy wheels. From the rear, the new Creta Facelift remains similar to the ongoing model. On the inside, most of the design features are identical on the new Creta with the old version. The overall layout of the dashboard and other elements are also identical. With dual tone black and beige interiors, the look and feel of the cabin remain similar too.

The features list on the new 2018 Hyundai Creta has received a fresh set of changes such as a new infotainment system, which now comes with Apple Carplay, Android Auto with inbuilt navigation and rear parking camera display. Apart from this, Hyundai has also introduced other features on the new Creta such as a smart key band which provides better connectivity, 6-way electrically adjusted driver seats, electric sunroof, wireless charger, hill assist and a new cascading grille as standard across all variants. In terms of safety, Hyundai has provided dual airbags with ABS in all the variants as standard fitting in the new Hyundai Creta.
