The Kwid is available with 0.8L and 1.0L petrol engine options.

Renault has previously sold another hatchback in India—the Pulse, which was a rebadged version of the Nissan Micra. Launched to compete in the B-segment against the likes of Maruti Swift, the Pulse offered a diesel engine option and premium features. However, it was discontinued due to low demand. Upcoming Renault Cars

Renault is set to expand its portfolio in India with the launch of two highly anticipated SUVs in 2025—the new-generation Captur and the all-new Duster.  The new-generation Renault Captur, is expected to be priced between ₹ 9.5-13 lakh (ex-showroom). Renault is likely to equip the Captur with a turbo-petrol engine and a host of connectivity options, making it a strong contender against rivals like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.

The real highlight of the upcoming Renault Cars in India 2025 is the new generation Duster. Expected to be priced between ₹10-15 lakh, its launch will mark the return of the legendary SUV that was once a market leader in its segment. The new Duster is expected to offer a rugged design, a spacious cabin, and both petrol and hybrid powertrain options. Built on a modernized platform, it will target the mid-size SUV segment. Rivals will include hot-sellers like the Maruti Grand Vitara and Hyundai Creta.
