Holding a 4.6% share of the overall used market, Mahindra ranks fifth in the most preferred used car brands list. Their SUVs’ rugged build, reliability, and strong resale value make them a popular choice for buyers seeking a dependable and affordable pre-owned vehicle.

Top-Selling Used Mahindra SUVs of 2024

In 2024, used Mahindra SUVs continued to perform well, with several models that stood out. The Scorpio has been a consistent performer among used Mahindras in 2024. On the other hand, the ever-popular Thar, has seen a marked increase in demand among used cars. 

Overall demand for second hand diesel cars have taken a 4% hit in the past years but remains the fuel of choice among used SUV buyers. For Mahindra, demand for their diesel SUVs remains strong while manual transmission variants continue to dominate.

1. Mahindra Scorpio

Used Mahindra Scorpios have topped used sales for the brand consecutively since 2021 making it Mahindra’s best selling SUV in the pre-owned market. 

It continues to dominate with 22% share of sales in 2024. Known for its rugged design, spacious interiors, and powerful engine options, the Scorpio is a favorite among buyers seeking a classic-looking and reliable SUV.
