Hyundai Motor India is the second largest car manufacturer in India in new car sales with a 14% market share. Known for offering features, practicality, build quality and comfort, the Korean manufacturer also places second in used car sales. A larger used market share of 21.9% highlights the value second hand Hyundai models offer.
CARS24’s used car report illuminates the fact that with a growth rate of 13% for used cars in 2024, it’s nearly double the rate of growth in the new car market. These are the best selling used Hyundai models in 2024.
The Top Five Best Selling Used Hyundai Cars in 2024
There’s an overwhelming preference for hatchbacks in the used car market accounting for the lion’s share of 53%. There is largely a preference for used petrol cars among Hyundai hatchback buyers.
A very high percentage of buyers opted for manual transmissions in the used hatchback market, with only the Grand i10 proving to be an exception.

1. Hyundai i10
The Hyundai i10 was launched in 2007 as a premium replacement to the popular Santro Xing and facelifted in 2010. Praised for its ergonomics, high-quality interiors and refined engine, the i10 was even voted ‘Car of the Year’ in 2008. The i10 has managed to attract nearly 19% of buyers in the second hand Hyundai car market.
