Similarly, manual gearbox-equipped Grand i10s were preferred by 91% of buyers. 

3. Hyundai i10 | 4% Used Market Share in Ahmedabad

The Hyundai i10 also achieved a 4% market share among used cars in Ahmedabad in 2024, but it was beaten to second place by its newer iteration. Praised for its practicality and ease of maintenance, the old Hyundai i10 is a popular choice for first-time car owners and small families. 

The i10 is one of the best compact cars in India, which facilitates effortless parking and maneuvering in crowded city areas. That said, despite the traffic congestion, 97% of buyers preferred the manual transmission-equipped i10. On the whole, the i10's reputation for durability and Hyundai's strong service presence in the region added to its appeal to used car buyers.

4. Maruti Suzuki Wagon R 1.0 | 3% Used Market Share in Ahmedabad

With a 3% market share, the pre owned Maruti Suzuki Wagon R 1.0 was the fourth best selling vehicle in Ahmedabad last year. Its tall-boy design offers a spacious interior, providing ample headroom and comfortable seating. The Wagon R's fuel efficiency and low maintenance costs make it an economical choice for daily commuting. 

As per our internal data, 85% of buyers opted for a petrol engine-equipped Wagon R, with the rest being CNG-equipped. A sizable 94% of buyers didn’t want the AMT automatic, and opted for the manual gearbox-equipped Wagon R in Ahmedabad last year.

CARS24’s internal data reveals that 91% of buyers opted for the petrol engine, with 9% opting for the CNG-equipped used Maruti Alto. Its simple design and efficient fuel consumption make it a practical option for daily use.
