Hyundai took second place with 25.3% share of the second hand car market in Ahmedabad; a drop of 1% from 2023 numbers. Tata’s made in India tag and high safety ratings make it a popular choice in India’s pre-owned car market. Used Tata cars in Ahmedabad improved the brand’s share of the pie rising to 7.3% in 2024, up 1.3% from 2023. The Nexon compact SUV was in second place having made up a 10% share and adding to the SUV tally. The Nano subcompact hatchback still wins hearts and was in third place with a share of 9.5% of Tata second car sales in Ahmedabad.

Although it may not be an active part of the Indian new car market, Ford had a plant in Gujarat and the demand for used Ford cars in Ahmedabad is still very strong.
