Buyers favour Tata SUVs for their appealing looks, ruggedness, durability, reliability, and excellent resale value.

Top-Selling Used Tata SUVs of 2024

Several used Tata SUVs performed well in the second hand market, with the Tata Nexon leading the charts. Meanwhile, the Tata Punch saw steady demand as it gained popularity in the pre-owned market last year. 

While overall used diesel car sales have declined by 4% since 2022, it still remains the top engine choice for Tata SUVs. Second hand petrol car variants have gained traction in models like the Tata Punch but when it comes to SUVs with bigger engines, our data reveals that diesel is still the fuel of choice.

1. Tata Nexon

Accounting for 48% of Tata’s used SUV sales, the Tata Nexon sits proudly as the most sold used Tata SUV in 2024. Used Nexons have remained the most sought-after pre-owned Tata model since 2021 where it has seen a continual growth in sales from 25% to 30% in 2022 and 42% in 2023. It is valued for its modern design, spacious interiors, and strong performance from both engine options.
