The Hyundai Verna dominates the segment with an impressive 61% of used Hyundai sedan sales in 2024. Following the Verna, the Xcent holds 24% of the market. The Accent, a legacy model, still manages to retain 9% of the used market share.

Petrol engines with manual transmissions still remain a favoured combination however, pre-owned models like the Verna and Xcent have seen a steady demand for their diesel engines in the past year.

1. Verna

The Hyundai Verna is the star of the used sedan segment, capturing a remarkable 61% of Hyundai’s sedan sales in 2024. That makes it the best selling used Hyundai sedan last year. Its wide appeal extends to both petrol and diesel buyers. However, in 2024, 52% of sales were for the diesel variants while 86% of manual transmissions dominated the used Hyundai Verna sales.
